Personal Progress

Oh boy, I’m a little nervous to post these pictures as I haven’t really done a side-by-side comparison yet. I started the Slow Carb Diet at nearly 190lbs with an average blood pressure of 145/90 and a size 14 pant that I still couldn’t get comfortable in. Despite all these things, despite battling a muscular disorder (fibromyalgia), I have had endless support from The Boyfriend and with his patience and help, I am coming up on eight months of being nicotine-free and about five months of serious dedication to the slow carb lifestyle. I am also (of course) reading the book, Tim Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Body which you can buy here. For more tips, tricks, news, and updates on my personal progress, follow me on Instagram here and like my Facebook page here.

I’ve lost about 2″ on my waist, possibly more now but I’ve been too scared to check, 2% body fat (I started measuring BF about 2 months ago), and can comfortably fit into most size 12 pants now. I still have a long way to go, but I didn’t gain 60 pounds in one week, I’m not going to lose it in one week. As of last week, my blood pressure was near-textbook perfect at 120/86.

“Trust the process and keep going.”
